The Adventures of Hotep first showed up in the Lunda Magazine in 1996 to say, "Don't forget your roots." He reminded the children that "Before violence, There was injustice. Before injustice, there was peace." Hotep traveled to the farms and saw produce on the ground but knew the people were hungry. Hotep said, "pick a fruit. Feed a child. Plant a seed. Feed a nation." The seed has been planted for the children to grow and feed themselves. Now, let them lead the way.
